Spiced Hot Whiskey

When you want to warm up from the inside out there is no better drink than a hot whiskey. This spiced version is a little twist on the classic cocktail and a perfect fireside companion.

Spiced Hot Whiskey

1 shot of whiskey
1-2 heaped tsp of sugar or honey
1 slice of lemon studded with cloves
1 cinnamon stick
1 star anise
3/4 cup boiling water
Combine all ingredients into a warmed glass
